Dave Katten

Dave Katten has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Dave currently works as a Software Engineer at Unlearn.AI since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Simpli.fi from 2016 to 2022, first as a Staff Engineer and then as a Product Lead. At Simpli.fi, they were responsible for designing and deploying Airflow pipelines, Spark applications, and Looker reports, as well as data warehouse and storage design for Vertica. Before that, Dave worked at Geoforce Inc as a Lead Software Developer from 2012 to 2016. Dave also worked as a Web Developer at Rice University from 2011 to 2012 and as a Web Accessibility Specialist at California State University, Sacramento from 2008 to 2010. Dave Katten obtained a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Pomona College, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Linguistics at Rice University, completing their doctoral studies from 2002 to 2011.
