Hanno Blankenstein

Hanno Blankenstein has worked in various roles since 1994. Hanno co-founded and was Managing Director of BitGLOBE Inc., a company specialized in developing and selling flight simulation software and pilot training material. Hanno identified a product niche and developed a strategy for market entry in the European market. In 1998, they were a Principal at Booz & Company. From 2006 to 2010, they were Head of Innovation and Head of Commercial Strategy at Vodafone. In 2010, they co-founded and was CEO of Pocketweb, responsible for product innovation, partnerships, investor relations and business strategy. Pocketweb developed Location Based Services (LBS), Messaging, Contact Management, CRM, Media Management and Geo-advertising solutions for consumers and corporates across Android, iPhone, Nokia, Blackberry mobile platforms and the web. Hanno also co-founded and was Joint CEO of S&C from 2010 to 2014, driving growth and focussing on innovation and growth strategies, and customer-centred and insight-driven design, data analysis, ideation and prototyping. In 2014, they co-founded, was Partner and Managing Director at BCG Digital Ventures, helping to setup autonomous vehicle, robotics, aviation, fintech, and insurance businesses. Finally, in 2016 they became CEO and Co-founder of Unleash live, a company that turns Vision into Visual Data to Measure Reality. In 2022, they became a Non Executive Director at the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce to further bilateral trade between Germany and Australia.

Hanno Blankenstein's education history includes a MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business between 1997 and 1999, a degree in Business from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg between 1995 and 1997, and a period of study in Marketing and Finance at the University of California, Berkeley in 1995.
