Irena Pereira received a diploma from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in 1995. Irena then pursued higher education at the University of Southern California from 1995 to 1997, where they were a candidate for a degree in Religion & Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology. In terms of additional certifications, Irena obtained a Secret Clearance from the United States Air Force in February 2019 and is currently in the process of obtaining the Get in the Game DICE, Mentee certification from Women in Games International (WIGI) in 2023.
