Vivek Salunkhe

Vivek Salunkhe is an experienced data scientist currently serving as a Senior Associate Data Scientist in Applied AI and Modeling at SAS since December 2021. In this role, Vivek has been instrumental in the development of a Retail Analytics Solution focused on Demand Sensing, implementing data preprocessing techniques, and optimizing machine learning models for enhanced accuracy. Prior to this, Vivek held positions as an Associate Software Developer and an NLP Intern at SAS, where projects included the creation of an interactive retail chatbot and automation frameworks. Vivek also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at LivNSense Technologies Pvt Ltd, developing a custom reinforcement learning agent, and as an ETL Developer at Bitwise Inc, where data migration and performance optimization were key responsibilities. Vivek holds a Master's degree in Data Science from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering.
