Julien Genestoux

Julien Genestoux has an extensive work experience. Julien started their career in 2002 as the Founder and President of Jobetudiant, the leading job board for students in France. In 2006, they joined SGAM Private Equity (Société Générale) as an Analyst. In 2007, they moved to BNP Paribas as a Junior Associate Leverage Finance. In 2009, they founded Notifixious Inc. (Superfeedr) and served as its CEO. In 2012, they organized and presented the first Realtime Conference in Europe. In 2016, they joined the W3C as an Invited Expert and also joined Medium.com as a Lead Engineer. In 2017, they became an Advisor for Gimlet Media. In 2018, they founded Unlock Inc. and currently serves as its CEO.

Julien Genestoux completed their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computer Science from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon between 2002 and 2005. Julien then completed a Mastère Spécialisé in Finance, Strategy from ESSEC Business School in 2006. In 2004-2005, they also completed a Master Of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
