Christopher Franco LCSW, LCADC, BC-TMH is an experienced mental health therapist currently employed at UNLV Health since August 2019. With a robust background in mental health services, Christopher also serves as a facilitator for BSHS courses at the University of Phoenix since November 2012. Previous experience includes roles at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, where Christopher worked as a Clinical Social Worker Intern and Counselor from November 2005 until October 2022, providing therapy and support to adults, children, and families. Christopher holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, obtained between 2000 and 2009.

Overview In March 2016, the UNLV Board of Regents approved the framework and creation of the nonprofit corporation, UNLV Health, the clinical faculty practice plan of the the UNLV School of Medicine. The mission of UNLV Health is to provide a premier multi-specialty academic group practice and primary care physicians who strive to provide the highest quality health care. UNLV Health is a multi-specialty practice with over 350 employees, and 5 clinic locations with 151 providers. UNLV Health combines education and research within the treatment environment, and manages the faculty clinical practice.
