N. Patricia Fernandez

N. Patricia Fernandez, PhD MPH, currently serves as the Director of Psych Providers of Behavioral Health Clinical Services and Director of Education and Training at UNM Hospital. With extensive experience in clinical psychology, N. Patricia holds various roles such as licensed clinical psychologist, clinical team lead, and training coordinator. Active in professional organizations, N. Patricia is a board member of the American Psychological Association's Board for the Advancement of Psychology in the Public Interest and serves as an early career board member at the New Mexico Psychological Association. Additionally, N. Patricia has held board positions with the Common Bond New Mexico Foundation and El Puente de Encuentros, advocating for the LGBTQ+ community and diverse behavioral health services. N. Patricia's academic credentials include a PhD in Health Psychology from The University of Texas at El Paso and an MPH from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
