Customer Journey and Product Ownership Manager at UNO Digital Bank

Rommel Magtalas has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Rommel started their career in 2015 at Smart Communications, Inc. as a Project Staff, where they were responsible for delivering projects within budget and time parameters. Rommel also performed resource planning and provided guidance on UX research methodologies.

In 2016, Rommel took on the role of Senior Business Analyst Lead, focusing on digital marketing channels. Rommel analyzed business requirements and translated them into technical use cases, initiating requirements cascade to the IT department.

From 2017 to 2020, Rommel served as the Product Manager of Digital Services, managing online channels and e-commerce sites for Smart Communications. Rommel excelled in delivering digital platforms, including mobile apps, online stores, and self-service tools, and played a key role in enhancing user experiences.

In 2020, Rommel joined DITO Telecommunity Corporation as the Customer Journey Design Manager. In this role, they led the creation and management of customer journeys to ensure outstanding service delivery. Rommel also conducted customer validation through interviews and focus group discussions.

Most recently, Rommel joined UNO Digital Bank in 2023 as the Customer Journey and Product Ownership Manager. Their responsibilities include overseeing the customer journey and product ownership processes to provide a great customer experience.

Rommel Magtalas pursued their higher education from 2011 to 2015 at Bulacan State University. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a focus on Information Technology.
