Aniruddha Deshpande

Aniruddha Deshpande has a strong background in IT and ERP systems. Aniruddha began their career as a Research Associate at Motorola Inc., where they designed and implemented Quality Tracking System and Production Monitor solutions, resulting in significant cost savings for the company.

Aniruddha then joined the United Nations Development Programme as a Systems Analyst, providing functional and technical support for the Atlas ERP system. Their responsibilities included configuration maintenance, development, and upgrades.

Aniruddha later moved to UNOPS, where they held various roles. As the ICT Advisor to the CIO, they provided guidance and support in implementing changes to improve productivity, particularly in Finance, Procurement, Project Management, and HCM. Aniruddha also played a crucial role in the successful implementation of the Unit4 Agresso Business World ERP system, transforming the systems landscape and streamlining business processes.

In their most recent role at UNOPS, Aniruddha served as a Solutions Designer and Team Lead, managing the Change, Support, and Maintenance IT team. Aniruddha ensured efficient and effective IT service management to support over 6000 users globally. Aniruddha also adapted IT Service Management processes based on ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000 guidelines.

Throughout their career, Aniruddha has consistently demonstrated their expertise in ERP systems and has successfully supported large-scale implementations in various organizations.

Aniruddha Deshpande obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University from 2001 to 2003. Aniruddha also completed an Executive Education Programme in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Business at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2021. In 2020, they completed an Executive Education Programme in Strategic Leadership Programme for IT Companies at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Furthermore, Aniruddha Deshpande holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, which they completed from 1996 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Aniruddha Deshpande has earned several certifications. Aniruddha obtained the ITIL® 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support Certificate from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2023. Aniruddha became a Certified Information Security Manager through LinkedIn, completed the Continuous Delivery & DevOps course by the Darden School of Business on Coursera, and became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) through LinkedIn in 2021. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance and the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Additionally, they earned the IT Service Management Foundation based on ISO/IEC 20000 certification from EXIN and the PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019. Aniruddha also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance and the MSP® (Managing Successful Programmes) Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019.
