Jakov Prolic

Jakov Prolic, BSc, currently serves as the Senior Security Advisor and Head of Security at UNOPS since January 2019, following a career that includes roles as a VIP Close Protection and Counter Terrorism Instructor at Instructor 300 and as a Close Protection Officer with the United Nations. Prolic possesses extensive experience in security consulting, advisory, and operational support, having coordinated close protection for high-profile officials, conducted risk assessments, and produced security plans. Prior service with the Government of Croatia’s Ministry of Interior involved leading tactical teams in high-risk situations and providing close protection services. Prolic holds a Bachelor's degree in Security Management and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, alongside various certifications in close protection and security operations.
