Jody Maine

Jody Maine has extensive experience in support services and project management within the United Nations system, currently serving as the Head of Support Services at UNOPS since March 2019, overseeing portfolio and project management for UNMAS mine action programmes. Previously, Jody held the position of Head of Support Services at the United Nations Mine Action Service from April 2016 to January 2019, where responsibilities included the development of a centralized support function for regional programmes, encompassing procurement, human resources, contract management, logistics, and finance. Jody's earlier tenure at UNOPS from July 2009 to January 2019 involved strategic oversight of support services and roles as a Procurement Specialist and Contracts Management Officer, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and managing procurement and contracting processes. Prior experience at MineTech International included responding to bids and proposals. Jody holds an LLB in Law from the University of Greenwich, attained between 1994 and 1998.
