Jørn Bratland

Jørn Bratland has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information and communication technology. Jørn started their career as a Consultant at Netcompany, where they worked from February 2003 to November 2006. Jørn then moved on to UNDP/IAPSO, where they worked as a Software Developer from November 2006 to December 2007, focusing on eProcurement solutions and implementing ISO 9001 IT development procedures.

In January 2008, Jørn joined UNOPS as a Software Developer, where they designed and coded custom .NET business applications. Jørn also served as the Collaboration Systems Lead from February 2015 to March 2018, overseeing the corporate intranet and website platforms and assisting with architecture-related matters for ICT projects. From March 2018 to the present, Jørn has been working as an Enterprise Architect, Software at UNOPS, contributing to strategic planning and providing guidance on system options, risks, and cost-benefit analyses.

Jørn'smost recent role is Chief Information Security Officer at UNOPS, a position they started in February 2022. In this role, Jørn is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of information systems and data for the organization. Overall, Jørn Bratland has demonstrated expertise in software development, enterprise architecture, collaboration systems, and information security throughout their career.

Jørn Bratland obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing from DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1996 to 2003. Jørn also obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Master I, Prince2 Foundation, 70-542: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Application Development, 70-541: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Service 3.0 - Application Development, and MCP - Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual C#.
