Leonardo Flores Gamero

Leonardo Flores Gamero is a seasoned Civil Engineer with extensive experience in construction and quality management across various projects in Nicaragua. Currently serving as Técnico en Ingeniería de la Construcción - Asociado at UNOPS since March 2024, previous roles include Quality Manager at VAMED from April 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing quality control for the replacement and equipping of the Hospital Departamental de Nueva Segovia. Additional experience encompasses project quality management at Astaldi for the Hospital Departamental de Chinandega, and at CONSORCIO SGHO, overseeing the construction and equipment of the New General Hospital of the Western Zone of Managua. Early career positions include project engineering roles focusing on hydroelectric plant construction and residential developments. Leonardo holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and a diploma in Rigid Pavements from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
