Marco Scarpetta

Marco Scarpetta is a seasoned Project Manager with extensive experience at UNOPS, managing climate change, infrastructure, advisory services, and AI-related projects in Indonesia since July 2016. Prior roles include overseeing procurement and infrastructure projects across the South-East Asia and Pacific region and managing grants and capacity assessments in Myanmar. Scarpetta's background also features work as a Portfolio Analyst in Geneva, analyzing partnerships and donor engagements, as well as internships at UNFPA and UNOPS focused on procurement and partnerships. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Università Politecnica delle Marche, complemented by an ERASMUS exchange at the University of Groningen.
