Ruxandra Radu

Ruxandra Radu is an experienced procurement and operations specialist with a robust background in international development and emergency response. Currently serving as the Head of Operations and Procurement Specialist for UNOPS since August 2020, Ruxandra provides critical support to country offices during high-risk situations, contributing to humanitarian interventions across various countries, including Afghanistan and Sierra Leone. Prior experience includes roles such as Procurement Analyst for the Covid-19 Task Force and Procurement and Supply Chain Officer with the United Nations Peacekeeping mission. Ruxandra holds multiple degrees in law and European studies from institutions including Université libre de Bruxelles and West University Timisoara, further enhancing expertise in policy advisory and project management within the public sector.
