Sara Netzer has extensive experience in the fields of emergency response, food security, and livelihoods, spanning over a decade. Currently, Sara serves as the Representative and Country Director at UNOPS since December 2021, as well as the Fund Director for the Livelihoods and Food Security Fund (LIFT) in Myanmar. Previous roles include a position at the World Food Programme focused on Caribbean emergency preparedness and response, and various leadership positions at USAID, Save the Children, FAO, and CARE/Oxfam. Sara holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University, demonstrating a solid educational foundation for a career dedicated to humanitarian efforts and food security initiatives.
