Wagner Maxsen

Wagner Maxsen is a project, programme, and portfolio management specialist with over 25 years of experience across various sectors globally, including infrastructure, energy, IT, and finance. Currently, Wagner serves as a Principal Advisor for the Infrastructure and Project Management Group at UNOPS, where they focus on enhancing organizational maturity in project management. Past roles include PMO Director for Belo Horizonte City Hall and IT Manager at Construtora Andrade Gutierrez. Wagner holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University, along with numerous certifications in project management and corporate strategy. Active in the Project Management Institute, Wagner currently serves as Director of the Board after holding various volunteer positions.
