Head Of US Policy at Principles for Responsible Investment

Greg Hershman has had a diverse work experience in various organizations. Greg started their career as an intern in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. Greg then worked as an Energy/Environment Intern for Senator Chris Coons in the United States Senate in 2011. In 2012, they served as the North State Field Director for Markell for Delaware, coordinating field operations for Governor Jack Markell's re-election campaign.

From 2013 to 2018, Hershman worked in various roles in the United States Senate, including Deputy Press Secretary for the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and Press Assistant for the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Greg also served as a Legislative Correspondent and Assistant to the Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-DE).

In 2019, Hershman held multiple roles, including being the President of the Tepper Net Impact Club at Net Impact, where they received the "U.S. Graduate Chapter of the Year" award. Greg also worked as an MBA Associate for BCI Technology Investments.

Most recently, Hershman has been working at Principles for Responsible Investment as a Senior Specialist, U.S. Policy, and is currently the Head of US Policy since September 2021.

Greg Hershman has a diverse education history. Greg obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their MBA, they attended Franklin & Marshall College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Government and English. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in an exchange program at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2010, focusing on European Politics.
