Asako Nitta

Asako Nitta is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in donor relations and media broadcasting. Currently serving as a Donor Relations Officer and Donor Visibility Expert/Consultant at UNRWA since March 2022, Nitta focuses on creating materials for advocacy and fundraising while enhancing outreach to private sector partners in Japan. Previous roles include Donor Visibility Officer at HoriPro Inc., where Nitta reported on the political and cultural landscape of Jerusalem to Japanese media, and as a Public Relations Specialist at the Japan International Volunteer Center. Nitta has also worked as a News Anchor for major Japanese broadcasters, including Fukushima Broadcasting and NHK, covering critical events and producing informative programs. Nitta holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor's degree in Regional Development and Welfare from Hosei University.
