Dr. Salam Ghanem

Dr. Salam Ghanem has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Dr. Salam started their career as a Senior Pediatrics Resident at the Ministry of Health in Jordan in 2004, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they joined UNRWA as a Medical Officer and worked there until 2014. Dr. Salam then returned to the Ministry of Health as a Senior Pediatrics Resident from 2015 to 2017. Since 2017, Dr. Ghanem has been working at UNRWA as the Head of the Health Center in Amman, Jordan. In this role, they have demonstrated successful leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality primary healthcare services to the vulnerable refugee population. Dr. Salam has also been involved in project implementation, monitoring, and collaboration with organizations such as UNRWA HQ-Amman and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health-USA.

Dr. Salam Ghanem received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB) degree from the University of al Mosul, where the specific field of study is not provided. Dr. Salam later obtained their Master's degree in Masters of Public Health from the Jordan University of Science and Technology between 2017 and 2019.
