Lainie Grummitt

Lainie Grummitt is an experienced professional in human resources and project coordination, currently serving as the Head of the International Personnel Services Section and Human Resources Operations Manager at UNRWA since January 2023. Previously, Lainie held the position of HR Development Coordinator for the Middle East at Médecins Sans Frontières (Switzerland) from September 2021 to December 2022, and worked as a Human Resource Manager at Mercy Corps from November 2020 to September 2021. Lainie has extensive experience with ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM, serving as Project Coordinator in different capacities between 2018 and 2020, and worked with Médecins Sans Frontières in various HR and operational roles from 2008 to 2018. Lainie also gained valuable experience as a Training Coordinator with the Peace Corps and as a Training and Communications Advisor with Australian Volunteers International/AYAD. Lainie holds a Master of International Development from Deakin University, completed between 2008 and 2010.
