Gus Martin has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Gus started their career as an Assistant Designer and 3D Modeler at Domus ID in 2010. In 2012, they worked on two projects as a Lead Programmer and Designer at VFS Student Project, where they also took on the role of Project Manager for one of the projects. Gus then joined Boximals as the Lead Programmer and Systems Designer, where they worked on a game aimed at teaching kids the ABCs.

Martin's next role was at Electronic Arts in 2013, where they served as a Technical Artist. Gus then worked as a Development Consultant at Victory Square Games and as a Systems Designer at Active Gaming Media. In 2015, they joined SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. as an AI and Automation Programmer, where they worked on Kingdom Hearts III and also focused on improving pipelines and automation. Gus later transitioned into the role of Technical Artist at SQUARE ENIX and worked on documentation, scripting behavior trees, and programming AI nodes.

In 2017, Martin joined Capcom as an AI Programmer and stayed there until 2020. During this time, they gained valuable experience in developing AI systems. Gus then returned to SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. in 2020 as a Research and Development Engineer, focusing on implementing systems required for game prototyping and exploring new gameplay features based on AI and Machine Learning. Most recently, in 2022, Martin joined UNSEEN Inc. as a Gameplay Engineer.

Gus Martin completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, from 2007 to 2011. Gus then pursued a Diploma in Game Design from Vancouver Film School in 2012.
