Brian Gormley began their career in 2014 as a Counselor at High Cascade Snowboard Camp. In 2015, they became the President of CU Snowboarding. In 2017, they joined Unspun as a Mechanical Engineer and a Robotics Engineer. At Unspun, they worked on a National Science Foundation-backed hardware team to create a 3D printing inspired machine that inputs industry-standard yarn and outputs a near-net-shape woven textile product. This project was supported by the US National Science Foundation, HAX Accelerator (SOSV), The Mills Fabrica, H&M Foundation, and Cyberport.

Brian Gormley obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. Additionally, they obtained a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification from NCEES in May 2017, and a SolidWorks Associate - Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes in December 2013.
