Tim Willette

Tim Willette joined the University of North Texas at Dallas in 2019. As the Chief Compliance Officer, Willette is responsible for ensuring that UNT Dallas has access to Compliance services that satisfy the applicable elements of the U.S. Federal Sentencing Commission’s Guidelines.

This includes directly managing Hotline complaint systems which offers an anonymous reporting option. He is also responsible for partnering with executive and senior management at all UNT System Components using an Enterprise Risk Management approach to facilitate compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

He previously worked at the University of California, Riverside for 13 years. Willette is pursuing a doctorate in business administration, applied and professional ethics from California Southern University. He holds a J.D./MBA from Indiana University and earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
