Olivier Herlem

Olivier Herlem currently serves as the Head of Data and Data Product Manager at Untapped Global, where the focus is on reshaping profitable investing through innovative Smart Asset Financing technology that enhances transparency in emerging market investments. Previously, Olivier worked as a Senior Data Scientist at eXplain, specializing in the development and deployment of machine learning and natural language processing models, as well as API development. Olivier holds a PhD in Economics from Erasmus University, where empirical and theoretical studies concentrated on strategic communication and buying influence, alongside diverse teaching roles in microeconomics and public economics. Earlier experience includes a lecturer position at Erasmus School of Economics and an internship at AFD - Agence Française de Développement. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctor of Philosophy from Erasmus University, a Master of Philosophy from the Tinbergen Institute, and a Master’s Degree from Sciences Po.
