Adrian Zsombor Amanci

Adrian Zsombor Amanci has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Adrian Zsombor currently works as a Firmware Engineer at Untether AI, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, from July 2019 to March 2022, they worked at Candura Instruments as a Principal Firmware & Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing hardware, firmware, and software for power measurement devices. At Candura Instruments, they also worked as a Design Engineer from January 2015 to March 2022, where they gained hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design and implemented WiFi capabilities for portable power measurement units.

From September 2010 to August 2014, Adrian served as a Supervisor/Co-Supervisor at the University of Toronto, where they co-supervised design groups for electrical engineering projects and supervised summer students working on research projects. In 2005, they worked as an Engineering Assistant at Genpharm Inc., where they reorganized the Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, and Work Order System and developed an automated Work Order Entries program.

Adrian Zsombor Amanci began their education at Glenforest Secondary School from 2001 to 2003, where they completed their high school education. Adrian Zsombor then attended the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science with a focus on Electrical Engineering. Concurrently, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2007 to 2009. Adrian Zsombor Amanci continued their academic journey at the University of Toronto and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from 2009 to 2014.
