Kinjal Patel

Kinjal Patel has worked in the tech industry since 2013. Kinjal started their career as a Software Engineer at Xilinx, where they developed a bare-metal secure software channel and Board Support Packages and low-level drivers for ARM A53, A9, and R5 processors. In 2019, they joined Applied Brain Research as a Machine Learning Scientist, where they worked on trajectory prediction systems, adaptive controllers, object detection, and semantic segmentation networks. Kinjal was later promoted to Machine Learning Scientist 3, where they worked on speech recognition models, image classification networks, and single-stage object detection networks. In 2022, they joined Untether AI as a Senior Deep Learning Engineer (Tech Lead).

Kinjal Patel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Systems and Control Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology.
