Liam Hale McCarty is the CEO and Founder of Verified Inc., a network focused on verification. Prior to that, they founded Be Heard, formerly known as ePluribus, and received the OZY Genius Award in 2017 and won the Grand Prize at the Stanford Idea Competition in the same year. Liam Hale worked as a Researcher at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, contributing to the creation of USAFacts.org, a platform that collects and organizes government data. McCarty also worked as a Researcher at the Center for Deliberative Democracy at Stanford University, assisting in the development of briefing materials for a Deliberative Poll conducted at the 2015 Internet Governance Forum in João Pessoa, Brazil. Additionally, they authored a book titled "Data and Power: Big Data and Corporate Control in Modern America."
