Avtar Singh

Avtar Singh, FSA, MAAA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Stop Loss Actuary & Advanced Analytics at Unum since January 2018. Prior to this role, Avtar was the Director of Group Disability Actuary at The Hartford from September 2015 to January 2018. Previous experience includes positions at Cigna as a Stop Loss Actuary, Financial Analysis Manager, and Sr. System Analyst between July 2006 and September 2015. Avtar holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Connecticut (2011-2015), a Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Miami (2003-2006), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (1998-2002).
