Lisa Montelongo-Connor

Lisa Montelongo-Connor is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Managing Counsel at Unum since March 2018, having previously held the roles of Assistant Vice President & Counsel and Assistant Vice President & Senior Counsel. With a focus on legal counsel for life, disability, and long-term care claims, Montelongo-Connor has successfully identified legal risks, implemented risk management solutions, and led various training initiatives. Prior to Unum, Montelongo-Connor served as Associate Litigation Attorney at Luther-Anderson, PLLP, managing personal injury and employment litigation cases, and as Associate Employment Litigation Attorney at Brown Dobson Burnette and Kesler. Montelongo-Connor earned a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Judson College.
