Leonardo Kilhian Cordeiro

Leonardo Kilhian Cordeiro has a strong work history in product design, with experience in various companies. Leonardo most recently worked at UNWIRE as a Senior Product Designer starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were at Midway as a Senior Product Designer from 2021 to 2022, where they worked on building a new finance platform. Before that, they worked at ALPE as a Senior Product Designer from 2019 to 2021, where they were responsible for the company's responsive portal and design system. Leonardo also has experience at IBM iX from 2018 to 2019, Sciensa from 2017 to 2018, SportsMatch in 2017, BIZSYS from 2013 to 2017, and Dafiti Group in 2012. Throughout their career, they have worked closely with users, stakeholders, and engineering teams, and has a strong background in design thinking, service design, and agile methodologies. Leonardo has received recognition for their work, including prestigious awards like Cannes Lions and Clio's Awards.

Leonardo Kilhian Cordeiro began their education journey by obtaining a graduate degree in Graphic Design from Universidade Cidade de São Paulo in 2010. Following that, in 2008, they attended Senac Brasil for a Multimedia course specializing in Graphic Design, Marketing, and Advertising. Their pursuit of knowledge continued in 2018 when they enrolled in Universidade Positivo to earn a Specialist degree in User Centered Design - Service Design, which they completed in 2019. In the same year, Leonardo pursued further education at FIAP, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Innovation.

Apart from their formal education, Leonardo also holds various certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Product Manager Mobile from Product Arena. Later, in 2017, they completed a Lean Inception certification through Direto ao ponto. In 2018, Leonardo achieved the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM. Moving to 2019, they obtained several certifications including Cognitive Practitioner, Certificate of Membership IDF from The Interaction Design Foundation, Bootcamp Design Leadership from How Bootcamps, and Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator from IBM. Finally, in 2019, they completed the IBM Way certification and the Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI certification from IBM, as well as the Design Systems Operations certification from How Bootcamps.
