Jason Tafler

Jason Tafler has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 1998, they worked in investment banking at First Marathon Securities. Jason later joined Zoomer Media as the Director of Business Development from 1999 to 2004. Following that, they worked at The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. in mergers and acquisitions from 2004 to 2005.

In 2005, Tafler joined PointRoll, Inc., where they served in different roles, including VP of Business Development & Strategy, SVP of Business Operations & Strategy, and ultimately CEO from 2008 to 2011. Jason then transitioned to Rogers Communications, first as the Chief Digital Officer from 2011 to 2014, and then as the EVP of Customer Experience from 2014 to 2016.

In 2015, Tafler became a Member of the Board of Directors at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, a position they held until 2019. During the same period, they also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Unyte Health Inc., a company they founded and where they currently hold the position of CEO.

Additionally, Tafler has been involved in various advisory roles. Jason served as a Member of the Innovation Advisory Council at the Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) from 2017 to 2020. Furthermore, they joined Jamieson Laboratories as a Member of the Board of Directors in 2017 and remained in that role until 2021.

Through their work experiences, Tafler has demonstrated a commitment to improving health and wellness, particularly in the fields of brain health, rehabilitation, and digital solutions.

Jason Tafler attended the Schulich School of Business at York University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Jason'sstudies focused on Finance, Economics, and Marketing. After completing their undergraduate education, Jason pursued further specialization by attending the CFA Institute from 1998 to 2002. Jason obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation during this time.
