Daniel Yap

Daniel Yap has a diverse work experience spanning over various companies and roles. Daniel currently holds the position of Vice President, Digital Channels and Sales at UOB Asset Management since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant, Cloud Adoption at Versent from December 2020 to September 2021.

In 2015, Daniel co-founded Dandem Labs Pte Ltd and served as the Head of Technology. During their tenure, they led the development of new cloud and app products and expanded their capabilities in digital health solutions, RPA services, data warehouse consultancy, and web development. Daniel also played a key role in the conceptualization and launch of their SAAS product, Clinio.io, a healthcare operations platform.

Daniel also gained experience at CGS-CIMB Securities as the Regional Manager of Application Development from October 2014 to February 2015. Furthermore, they were a co-founder and the Head of Technology at Dandem Labs Pte Ltd from August 2012 to September 2014, where they focused on business growth, software engineering, technical documentation, DevOps, and infrastructure planning.

Additionally, Daniel co-founded ZiniCat Pte Ltd in April 2012 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Daniel obtained funding and built the platform with limited resources, leading the growth of internal engineering and IT resources.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Daniel worked at Phillip Securities Pte Ltd from 2008 to 2012, holding various roles including IT Manager, Senior Business Analyst, Business Analyst, and e-Commerce Executive. Daniel started their career as a Project Executive at Wiz Werx Pte Ltd from October 2006 to January 2008.

Daniel Yap obtained a Bachelor Degree in Computing Science in Management Information Systems from the National University of Singapore, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their GCE A Levels in Computer Science at Anderson Junior College from 2000 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Daniel has also obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) from Scaled Agile, Inc., Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance.
