Mun Hon Tham has worked for several prominent companies in the finance industry. Mun Hon started their career at CLSA as a Strategy Analyst in 2001. Mun Hon then joined BNP Paribas as a Strategist in 2002 before moving to ABN AMRO in 2005. At ABN AMRO, they worked as a Regional Strategist until 2008 when they joined Daiwa Capital Markets Hong Kong Limited. Mun Hon Tham held the position of Regional Strategist at Daiwa until 2011. Mun Hon then joined Kim Eng Securities as a Regional Strategist and worked there until 2012. Currently, they are the Head of Research for Greater China at UOB Kay Hian.
Mun Hon Tham completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Econometrics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 1994. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Econometrics from LSE in 1993. Tham also studied at Raffles Institution from 1998 to 1999, obtaining GCSE A Levels. Additionally, they completed GCSE O Levels at RI from 1984 to 1987.
