Zara Lord has been involved in the healthcare industry since 2010, when they began their career as a Registered Nurse at Queensland Health. Zara then moved to NSW Health in 2012, where they worked as an Intensive Care Nurse and Rotational Team Leader. In 2017, they founded uPaged, a national healthcare workforce marketplace that connects healthcare organisations to fully-vetted, employment-ready, AHPRA-registered nurses. As CEO of uPaged, they created a transparent relationship between contingent nurses, nursing agencies and hospitals. In 2021, they were awarded the Brilliant Women in Digital Health Award from Telstra Health.

Zara Lord, CEO/Founder of uPaged, has a long history of education. Zara holds a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing from the University of Technology Sydney, a Bachelor of Nursing from The University of Queensland, and a Senior Certificate from St Margarets Anglican Girls School.
