Carol McFate

Carol McFate has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Their most recent roles include serving as an Independent Corporate Director for Upbound Group, Argo Group, and Rent-A-Center, Inc. Carol has also held the position of Independent Director at Verger Capital Management LLC. Prior to their independent director roles, they worked as the Chief Investment Officer at Xerox from 2006 to 2017. Carol also served as the Executive Vice President & Global Treasurer at XL Capital Ltd. from 2003 to 2006. Before that, they held various positions at AIG, Inc., including Vice President & Treasurer, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer/Director, Financial Analysis. Carol started their career at Prudential Financial, where they held the positions of Senior Vice President and Vice President. Their earliest role was as an Assistant Treasurer at Macmillan.

Carol McFate attended Harvard Business School from 1977 to 1979, where they obtained an MBA degree in Finance/General Management. Prior to that, they studied at Juniata College from 1971 to 1975, graduating magna cum laude with a BS degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Music. In terms of additional certifications, Carol McFate obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 1992.
