Rob Zwirn

Rob Zwirn is currently an Advisor at UpBup, a position they have held since January of 2020.

Previously, Rob Zwirn was the Vice President of Finance at Little Sprouts, LLC from October 2013 to December 2016. In this role, Rob was responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations for the company, which included accounting and reporting, audit and valuation, financial planning and analysis, insurance management, debt compliance, and IT oversight. Rob also played a key role in identifying potential merger and acquisition targets and conducting financial diligence, which led to the successful acquisition of three locations and increased consolidated EBITDA by more than 30%.

Prior to Little Sprouts, Rob Zwirn was the Corporate Controller at NameMedia from November 2006 to October 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing financial operations and reporting for the company, which was a fast-paced and dynamic internet company with $70M in revenue. This included tasks such as audit and tax, financial reporting, valuation and impairment testing, equity and stock-based compensation. Rob also played a key role in the filing of S1 and S1-A offering documents as well as the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics and FRX (Management Reporter) accounting platform. Additionally, Rob completed financial diligence for 10 acquisitions and 3 divestitures, including the sale of the company.

Rob Zwirn holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from Questrom School of Business at Boston University, as well as an MS in Accounting from Babson College. Rob also graduated from Glastonbury High School.
