Brian McKillips

Brian McKillips has extensive experience in risk, compliance, and security roles. Brian started their career at PwC as a Manager in Risk Assurance, specializing in Technology Audit. Brian joined WarnerMedia as a Senior Manager in Technology Audit and Information Assurance in 2011, where they worked until 2019. Brian then served as the Director of Security and Cyber Risk Management at CLEAR for three years. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Risk and Compliance at Updater, starting in September 2022.

Brian McKillips holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Penn State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications in the field of information security, including the Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certification from the PCI Security Standards Council in January 2020. Brian also holds the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) obtained in July 2017, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² obtained in August 2017. Brian also has plans to pursue the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certification from The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA, although the specific month and year of obtaining these certifications are undisclosed.
