Kathy Howard, M.L.S.

Kathy Howard, M.L.S. has extensive experience in compliance and operations. Kathy began their career in 2001 as the Chief Operating Officer at Wellness Willows Sleep Center. In 2009, they moved to NuLife Sleep Diagnostic, Inc. as the V.P. of Operations. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Implementation and Compliance Specialist at TestSmartRx, where they grew profits by 30%. In 2014, they joined Texas Home Medical as an Executive Consultant and Compliance Officer, where they facilitated HIPAA compliance by implementing unique methods and methodologies, more than tripled referral orders, and maintained working relationships with over 100 healthcare offices and all staff. Currently, they are the Compliance Director at Updox.

Kathy Howard, M.L.S. earned their Master's in Legal Studies from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2020, with a focus on Healthcare, Regulatory & Policy and a 3.7 GPA. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelors of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Sam Houston State University between 2015 and 2018.
