Jue Wang

Jue Wang is a Senior Data Scientist at Upgrade, Inc. since May 2020, specializing in predictive machine learning models for credit risk evaluation, fraud detection, and marketing response prediction. Previously, Jue held a Data Scientist position at Bank of the West, where improvements were made to anti-money-laundering transaction monitoring using One-Class SVM, resulting in a significant increase in fraud detection precision. Jue's career also includes experience as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a Data Analyst Intern at Bayer, focusing on sales data analysis and forecasting using SQL and R.
