Rebecca Bacon has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Rebecca began their career at Brown Brothers Harriman in 2010, where they worked in Corporate Actions Operations until 2011. Following this, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Securities Lending Trader for a brief period. In 2012, Rebecca moved on to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they worked in Public Finance - Investment Banking for six years. In 2018, they joined Prosper Marketplace, focusing on Capital Markets. In 2019, Rebecca transitioned to Upgrade, Inc. as a Senior Director, Capital Markets, and then moved up to become the VP, Head of Financial Institutions in 2020. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member for WeGetWater.org and an Advisor for Murabi.
Rebecca Bacon attended Northeastern University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business with a focus on Finance and a minor in Economics. Rebecca also studied International Finance at John Cabot University. In addition to their degree, Rebecca has obtained certifications such as the Series 52, Series 63, and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
