Ziad Sawalha

Ziad Sawalha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and product management across various companies in the tech and financial sectors. Currently serving as RBI at Upgraded since September 2022, Ziad previously held multiple leadership roles at Klarna, including VP of Engineering for Core Banking and VP of Product for Platforms & Analytics, from January 2016 to February 2022. Ziad's earlier career includes significant positions at Rackspace Hosting, High Bridge Enterprises LLC, MB Schoen & Associates, Apptix Corporation, Mi8 Corporation, and Occidental Petroleum. Ziad holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Chemistry from Virginia Tech, as well as an International Baccalaureate diploma from Lester B. Pearson College.
