Jan Marek

Jan Marek is an accomplished Senior Product Designer with extensive experience in developing innovative digital solutions across various industries. Currently engaged at Upheal, Jan contributes expertise to the creation of smart notebooks for mental health clinicians since September 2022. Concurrently, Jan has been a Senior Product Designer at Readmio since November 2021, focusing on children's stories enhanced with voice-activated sounds, a project that achieved recognition as a winner at the Czech Startup World Cup & Summit 2021 and the Creative Business Cup. Previous roles include leading design efforts for privacy-centric applications at Avast, collaborating on a suite of VPN products, and gaining a broad foundation in UX/UI design at Inloop, Bandzone.cz, and other notable companies. Jan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, completed in 2011.
