Before their time at Uphold Inc., Diogo worked at Feedzai as a Senior Data Scientist, specializing in exploratory data analysis of production environments. Diogo also worked as a Data Scientist at Feedzai, where they were responsible for ensuring trust in the trade system and fighting against those seeking to undermine it.

Diogo began their career at Deloitte as a Financial Services Analyst, where they gained experience in solving problems for clients in the financial services industry, particularly in insurance activities. Diogo implemented a web portal to facilitate day-to-day activities for agents and brokers.

In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Mathematics for Machine Learning, Securing Software, DeepLearn 2018, EAIA 2018 - Advanced School on Data Science for Big Data, and various Coursera certifications in topics such as Big Data Analysis, Parallel Programming, Functional Programming, Deep Learning, and Entrepreneurship.
