Pedro Queirós

Pedro Queirós has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security. Pedro is currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security at Uphold Inc. Prior to that, they worked as the Security Engineering Manager at Talkdesk. Pedro also held the position of Information Security Engineer at H.B. Fuller, where they were responsible for developing initiatives and implementing security measures. Pedro was previously employed at Multicert as a Cyber Security Engineer and System Administrator, where they built a team and managed the company's Cyber Security Intelligence Center. Pedro began their career as a System Administrator at NOESIS Portugal, specializing in managed file transfers. Before that, they worked at Sobatlantic Lda., where they were involved in setting up and maintaining lan houses and cybercafes in the e-sports industry.

Pedro Queirós completed a Postgraduate degree in Cyber Security and Cyber Defence (NATO MN CD E&T) at Universidade do Minho from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Network Communications Engineering from the same institution, spanning from 2005 to 2013. In addition, Pedro has obtained several certifications, including Autopsy Basics and Hands On from Basis Technology in June 2020, CNSS Certified Network Security Specialist from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK in May 2020, CISA from ISACA in June 2018, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in March 2019.
