Richard He

Richard Richard is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and software engineer with a strong background in artificial intelligence and data. As Co-Founder and CEO of Openmart since September 2023, Richard leads efforts to query extensive unstructured local business data. Richard also serves as a Venture Partner at Orange Collective and a Scout at UpHonest Capital, leveraging experience from previous roles, including Founder-in-Residence at Afore Capital and Engineering at Graft, focusing on large language models and embeddings. Prior engineering positions include Senior Software Engineer at Cruise, where simulation was a primary focus, and Software Engineer roles at Pinterest, Amazon, and PROS, emphasizing real-time machine learning features and product development. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistics from Rice University and has completed Y Combinator's W24 program.
