John Fries

John Fries is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. Currently, John serves as Co-Founder of UpJump Media since May 2023. Prior to this role, John co-founded System1, where tenure extended from January 2014 to April 2023, and held the positions of Co-founder and CTO. John's earlier ventures include founding 3hands.la, where responsibilities included software engineering from July 2012 to December 2013, and a significant role at Google as a Software Engineer from August 2006 to June 2012. Additionally, John co-founded CellExchange and worked as a Software Engineer from June 1999 to June 2001. John earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
