Carlos Alberto de Paiva Pellicer

Carlos Alberto De Paiva Pellicer has extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board at Mio Cafe, with additional positions as Senior Advisor at Olimpia Partners and Global Board Member at UPL, Carlos is also a Board Member for Sementes Serra Bonita and holds the role of General Partner at Vidavo Ventures. As a co-founder of Zero Summit and Chairman of the Board at OpenAg Farm, Carlos underscores a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Carlos has been a Board Member at DVA Group since 2008 and has led Viola Agropecuaria as Chairman of the Board since 1988. Formerly, Carlos held the position of Global COO for Strategy, Innovation, and Integration at UPL from July 2011 to April 2021. Education includes a postgraduate degree in Agricultural Business Technology from Universidade Federal de Viçosa and a degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, complemented by studies at Harvard Business School.
