Hugo Eduardo Monetti

Hugo Eduardo Monetti is currently serving as CFO for the Mexico & Cuba Subregion at UPL since June 2019, after holding the position of Tax, Accounting, and Internal Control Manager in Argentina. Prior to UPL, Hugo worked at Arysta LifeScience Argentina from July 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities included ensuring accurate asset and liability measurements and financial reporting in US GAAP. From November 2010 to June 2016, Hugo was a Senior Accountant at Convexia Business Solutions, focusing on startup processes and financial reporting under various accounting standards. Hugo’s earlier experience includes a Senior role at ILYG Insight Leader Group, where duties encompassed financial report preparation and audit services, and a Semisenior Accountant position at Brea Solans & Asociados, involving account analysis and payment management in the Oil & Gas sector. Hugo holds a Certified Public Accountant degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a specialization in National and International Accounting and Audit Standards.
