VP of Engineering at Uplift

Aaron Freidus has worked in a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2012, they were a Goodwill Ambassador for the National Cherry Blossom Festival. In 2013, they were an Assistant Language Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Data Analyst and Menu Administrator for Gate Gourmet. Aaron then moved on to Planet3 as a Web Applications Developer before joining Blue Raster as a Full Stack Developer in 2017. In 2018, they became a US Software Lead and Senior Full Stack Developer at Energybox, where they architected a platform agnostic Kiosk application and scaled existing Node. JS services. In 2021, they joined UpLift as the VP of Engineering and Lead Software Engineer.

Aaron Freidus attended Horace Mann School before enrolling at The George Washington University in 2009, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature in 2013. In 2011, they studied at Sophia University for one year. In 2016, they completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program at Hack Reactor.
